Straight Stretch Core Flex Wheels
Straight Flex Wheels are designed for use with intake systems, conveyor systems, and shooter mechanisms.
Made from a custom, high-strength silicone rubber compound, these wheels offer superior performance compared to other flexible or compliant wheels commonly used in FRC and FTC robots. Ā They come in four diameters, each available in three durometers: Soft (30A),Ā Medium (45A), Hard (60A).Ā The option of different durometers allows you to customize the traction and compliance of your mechanism for optimal performance.
The 1-5/8" and 2ā diameter wheels have a 9mm hex bore designed to be stretched onto a standard 1/2" hex shaft. Larger wheels, 3 inches and above, have a 1-inch bore that can be stretched over a MotionX Hub, allowing them to be driven by a hex shaft. This larger bore design also enables you to stretch these wheels over a Round Roller tube to create a strong and lightweight roller.
